We aren't professional credit counselors, but we can help you determine if you're in a position to sell your home to eliminate that mortgage payment and avoid the foreclosure process.  What we can do depends on whether you have equity in your home, whether you are behind in your payments or not, and if you've already entered into the foreclosure process.  The earlier we start this process, the higher the chance of success.

Even if some of these bad things are already going on, we still may be able to help you.  Banks don't want to own homes.  In many cases we can help negotiate with your lender to obtain their agreement for what is called a "short sale;" in this case, the bank agrees to take less than what is owed if we sell the property before it goes to foreclosure.
